production platform Case study

Javaherian Gallery

A production WooCommerce platform case study from a live watch and jewellery business. The work combines hands-on engineering with day-to-day platform ownership: performance, product discovery, operational tooling, CRM workflows, reporting, frontend UX and technical SEO decisions that affect real sales activity.

The business problem

Javaherian Gallery is not a brochure site. It is a live WooCommerce store in the watches and jewellery market, where speed, catalogue accuracy, product discovery, checkout reliability and team workflows all influence revenue. The challenge was to keep improving the platform without disrupting daily sales operations or creating fragile one-off fixes.

What I delivered

  • Led the online platform and development function while staying hands-on with WordPress, WooCommerce, frontend implementation and operational tooling.
  • Built and maintained custom plugins and MU-plugins for performance, product workflows, admin operations, reporting and customer-facing improvements.
  • Improved archive filtering, product-page performance, cart and checkout behaviour, CRM workflows, catalogue control and marketplace preparation.
  • Coordinated technical work with a 12-person online team across sales, SEO, product support, CRM operations, design, social media and technical support.

Technical approach

  • Started from production signals: TTFB, slow archives, database pressure, Action Scheduler load, transient growth, REST/API noise, bot traffic and admin friction.
  • Used explicit WooCommerce hooks, safe cache boundaries, route guards, data snapshots and rollback-friendly plugin structures instead of theme-level shortcuts.
  • Kept checkout, account, cart and personalized states away from unsafe caching while improving the public browsing and product-discovery experience.
  • Connected engineering decisions with SEO, product data quality, reporting needs and the sales team’s actual daily workflow.

Result and evidence

The work produced measurable operational improvements across the platform, including faster archive and product-page experiences, lower background-job pressure, reduced bot noise on expensive routes and cleaner internal workflows for product, sales and management activity.

Commercial value

This case study shows my strongest operating mode: taking ownership of a live commerce platform, identifying the parts that slow the business down, and shipping practical systems that improve speed, reliability, control and customer experience without destabilising the store.

What this project shows

Javaherian Gallery shows that I can work beyond isolated tickets. I can own a production WooCommerce platform, read both business and technical signals, and translate them into safe engineering changes that support sales, SEO, operations and customer experience.

For an employer or client, this is the clearest proof of my fit as a Senior WordPress and eCommerce Platform Engineer: hands-on development, platform-level judgment, measurable performance thinking and practical communication with the people who use the system every day.
